Quick reminders to HIGHLIGHT:

- Be at church at 1pm to leave on the Bus (7/23)

- Bring Snacks for the road or come fed. We will stop for 30 minutes in a rest stop. You can bring money to purchase food or bring a lunch/snack to eat on the way. On Friday the doors won’t open till 6pm.

- Try to pack light (a duffle bag recommended). We are only there a total of 3days.

- Bring your bed sheets, blanket and pillow. Bring an extra empty bag to put all your used clothes when returning back.

- Bring a towel, toothbrush 🪥, for your hygiene care.

- We will have a phone 📱 fasting, so advise yours parents they can reach one your leaders if an emergency where to happen.

-****ALSO Bring and extra pair of clothes 👚 👕 that can get wet with some sandals/flip flops. There will be no pool time but other activities will be available during our free time.

We will be taking what we call a “Phone/Social Media Fasting”. When we arrive to camp all phones and electronic devices will be taken away to enjoy camp to the fullest. (ALL COUNSELORS/DORM LEADERS WILL HAVE THIER PHONES IN CASE OF ANY EMERGENCY) -Numbers Listed below

All groups must bring a leader to be responsible for your group. No wandering around unless approved by a counselor and told before hand.

All youth are expected to conduct themselves in accordance with the rules and regulations of MDV. Disrespect and defiance of a leader, insubordination, smoking in campgrounds, possession of fireworks are explosive devices, unauthorized lighting or possession of lighted materials, fighting, using profanity, bullying, cutting a session, leaving the building and repeated discipline referrals are serious violations of MDV’s rules. Youth guilty of these violations will be disciplined.

If you are going to be taking the bus we are meeting in the church at 1pm so leave your house accordingly to get on time.

All youth are encouraged to dress in a way that is in good test and is appropriate for camp/gatherings. Dress much be clean and neat, my not be a disruptive influence, present a threat to safety and health, or violate the law. The following must not be worn to camp:

⁃ Any clothing which is excessively tight or which may display excessive nudity

⁃ If tights are worn, the top must cover as far as hands go

⁃ Any article of clothing which displays indecent writing, pictures, or slogans

⁃ Any article of clothing that could cause damage to another student to his/her property

⁃ Any clothing which displays words or picture that depict alcohol or drugs bless the message is clearly designed to discourage use of these substances

⁃ All footwear must have backs (for protection outside)

No short shorts or shirtless.

All pants/shorts must cover as far as hands go.

Our church is an “institution of learning and spiritual growth” Anything that distracts others from concentration on their learning and spiritual growth work will not be tolerated.
